At CoolLED, we believe in the importance of giving back to the community that has supported us over the years.
This holiday season, we’ve been working closely with Andover Foodbank to help make a difference for families in need.
From gift boxes for children to food hampers for households, our team has been dedicated to spreading a little extra warmth and kindness
during what can be a challenging time of year for many.
Supporting Local Children Through the Holiday Meals Project
One of our key efforts this year was collecting gift boxes for children as part of Andover Foodbank’s Holiday Meals Project. This initiative ensures that children who might otherwise go without are able to enjoy the excitement and joy of the festive season.
The project provides more than just meals; it offers gift boxes filled with items that can brighten a child’s holiday. Our team at CoolLED rallied together to contribute to this meaningful cause, gathering donations of toys, books, and other treats to help bring smiles to young faces in our community.
Food Hampers for Families in Need
In addition to the gift boxes, CoolLED also contributed food donations to support Andover Foodbank’s Christmas Hampers and Gift Boxes Appeal. These hampers contain essentials and festive treats to help families enjoy a proper holiday meal during what can be a financially difficult time.
We’re proud to say that our team came together to donate generously, with employees contributing everything from tinned goods to luxury Christmas puddings. These hampers will go to local households who might otherwise struggle to celebrate the season.
A Big Thanks to the Team
None of this would have been possible without the organisation and effort of Olivia Foyle, Jasmine Randall, and Chris Eggington, who managed the collection and delivery of all donations. Their dedication ensured that every gift box and hamper made it safely to the foodbank, ready to be packed and distributed to those in need.
We’re also proud to share that some of our staff will be volunteering over the coming weeks to help the foodbank pack donations and prepare them for delivery. This hands-on involvement is just one way our team is committed to making a difference in the community.
