In memory of our founder, each year CoolLED celebrates our team spirit and presents The Nick Edwards Gold Award (NEGA) to one deserving team member. The award itself is constructed from our system components and crafted by one of our old colleagues.
This award embodies Nick’s commitment to the company. We look for someone who shares this commitment, stretches themselves, solves challenges with innovative solutions; and most importantly, someone who has proven an invaluable asset to the CoolLED team.
There were a lot of nominations and honourable mentions this year, including Dinos (Engineering) for his commitment to the pE-800 development, Evie (Production) for keeping on top of high demand with her LAM building skills, and Danielle (Sales) for her knowledgeable support and expert tutorial videos.
But this year it was Chelsie Holman (previously Fairweather) from Business Support who won! She is always cheerful and kind and super-efficient. She never complains even when under a lot of pressure, taking on more responsibility to cover Olivia’s maternity leave. Nothing is ever too much trouble for Chelsie and she has done really well through tough times. Well done!
