Microscope Illuminator Control in µManager 2.0
For intuitive control of complex imaging experiments, many CoolLED Illumination Systems offer USB connectivity
and support in popular third-party imaging software programs.
Users of the open source µManager platform have a number of options for using their CoolLED microscope illuminator.
1. Using the USB-TTL Trigger Kit for the added benefit of high-speed triggering. Take a look at our Quick Start Guide here.
2. Directly in the in µManager 2.0 official release versions by downloading the correct dll adaptor file (see below).
3. Directly in the µManager 2.0 nightly build versions by downloading the correct dll adaptor file (see below).
Which dll adaptor file to use for direct µManager 2.0 control?
We have two different dll adaptor files available, depending on whether your µManager 2.0 version is the official release or the nightly builds. The nightly build versions are recommended, which include the latest bug fixes. It is important to ensure the correct CoolLED dll adaptor file is used, and this information can be found in the Summary Sheet.
For more detailed information on how to set up and run an experiment in µManager 2.0 with your CoolLED microscope illuminator, please see the Quick Start Guide.
