Meet Marina Gardasevic
Say hello to Marina Gardasevic, our Global Business Development Manager for Life Sciences. Marina has a deep passion for microscopes that’s been with her since she was a youngster. This fascination with the tiny details of life led her to study biology at Imperial College London, and from there, she took her love of the subject all the way to a PhD in Neuroscience at Manchester University.
Marina’s path to CoolLED has been anything but ordinary. Having worked in customer development and automation, she brings a wealth of experience in helping people understand complex concepts – a skill she’s honed over the years as a personal tutor. Marina loves sharing knowledge, and she definitely brings this enthusiasm to her role with us.
When she’s not delving into the microscopic world, Marina spends time with her dog, Ford, and her snakes, Indy and Bud. It’s safe to say she’s a pet enthusiast! And if you’re wondering how she unwinds after a long day of business development, it’s by curling up with a good book. Marina’s reading preferences lean towards horror, murder mysteries, and crime novels – so if you ever need a recommendation, she’s your person!
On top of all this, Marina is a keen yoga practitioner. It’s her way of balancing the occasional indulgence in her other great love – chocolate. We think it’s safe to say she’s mastered the art of finding equilibrium…
