The Chinese Neuroscience Society presents CNS 2025
The 18th Annual Meeting of the Chinese Neuroscience Society will be held at the Xi’an International Convention and Exhibition Center.
This is a major event for the neuroscience community in China, and IBRO (International Brain Research Organization) is also involved
We’ll be bringing a range of our LED Illumination Systems with us, from the pE-300ultra and pE-400max (perfect for optogenetics) to the 8-channel pE-800 and 16-wavelength pE-4000. From optogenetics, calcium imaging, fiber photometry, FRET or fluorescent biosensor imaging – Whatever your illumination needs, we’ve got you covered.
With a range of TTL connections for lightning fast high speed imaging, broad spectral coverage including DAPI and YFP through to Cy5 and a range of applications thanks to their immense versatility – come and visit our booth at CNS 2025, B92!
pE-4000
The pE-4000 sets the standard as the universal Illumination System for fluorescence microscopy. The system has 16 selectable LED wavelengths across four channels that can be finely controlled and matched to the filters and fluorophores of almost any microscope.
pE-300 Series
The pE-300 Series is a range of LED Illumination Systems for fluorescence, optogenetics, electrophysiology and high-speed microscopy applications.
It comprises three individual systems, providing a solution that covers a wide range of everyday fluorescence microscopy.
pE-400 Series
The pE-400 Series delivers the most advanced yet cost-effective illumination for routine to advanced fluorescence microscopy applications. Four powerful LEDs offer broad spectral coverage from 365-635 nm for use with fluorophores ranging from DAPI through YFP to Cy5.
pE-800
The arrival of the pE-800 sees LEDs take centre stage as the widefield illumination method of choice. Featuring eight individually controllable LEDs and lightning fast TTL switching; the pE-800 delivers the highest quality data with minimum total cost of ownership.

| Thing to do | What it is | Tips |
|---|---|---|
| Meet the Terracotta Army | 8,000 life-size clay soldiers, horses and chariots guarding the tomb of China’s first emperor in Lintong District, ~40 km east of downtown. |
|
| Cycle the Ming-era City Wall | The Fortifications of Xi’an form a complete 14 km rectangle—the best-preserved city ramparts in China and a great skyline vantage point. |
|
| Graze the Muslim Quarter & Great Mosque | Historic Hui trading lanes with cumin lamb skewers, pomegranate juice and hand-pulled biáng-biáng noodles; the serene 8th-century Great Mosque sits just behind the stalls. |
|
| Giant Wild Goose Pagoda | Built in 652 AD to house sutras brought from India by monk Xuanzang; a 64 m Tang-dynasty brick tower and Xi’an icon. |
|
| Day-trip to Mount Hua (Huàshān) | One of China’s Five Great Mountains, famed for knife-edge ridges and vertiginous plank walks, ~120 km east of Xi’an. |
