CoolLED is pleased to welcome Alex Gramann to the R&D Team. Alex joins us as Product Development Engineer.
During his years at university, Alex developed an interest for optics. In order to further develop his knowledge in this area, he spent a period of time carrying out research at King Abdullah’s University of Science and Technology in Saudi Arabia, which led to a dissertation focused on Terahertz imaging using ultrashort laser pulses to excite non-linear crystals. Alex graduated in 2017 with a masters in Physics at the University of Sussex, and is keen to get involved with the R&D projects at CoolLED.
In his free time, Alex likes to cycle and travel abroad. He also enjoys all forms of media and loves learning about history.
