CoolLED’s production area has gained two new colleagues
Their talents promise to keep our pE-300 Series running smoothly and our parcels heading out the door on time.
Please join us in welcoming Monika Filova and Michael Riley to the team.
Monika Filova
After spending 15 years honing her craft at CIL, Monika arrives with an encyclopaedic knowledge of hand-built production lines and a calm focus that would make most metronomes jealous. Her main brief is to help oversee our pE-300 Series, ensuring each light source leaves the line performing exactly as designed; no flicker, no fuss.
Her attention to detail means our assembly team now has a built-in safety net for anything less than perfect.
Away from the workbench Monika enjoys spending time with her family, exploring new destinations, and carving turns on the ski slopes. When the weather refuses to cooperate, she is equally content with music on the headphones and a good book in hand.

Michael Riley
Michael’s route to CoolLED is rather different. For three decades he trained and cared for the birds at the Hawk Conservancy near our HQ in Andover, an occupation that demands steady hands, quick reflexes, and a solid supply of plasters. Those same qualities now serve him well on our production lines, where delicate components replace feathers but still require a craftsman’s touch.
Michael also lends muscle and method to our packing and dispatch area. If you receive a parcel that looks ready to survive a minor quest to Mordor, you can probably thank him. His knack for building extends well beyond work: give him a box of Lego and an evening and you’ll likely come back to find a cathedral, or at least a respectable inn.
Archery is another passion, where he can be found on the range with his recurve bow, perfecting the quiet discipline of sending arrows (usually) exactly where he plans…
