In memory of our founder, CoolLED presents an annual award to one deserving member of the team, the Nick Edwards Gold Award (NEGA). If you’re wondering about the award itself, it is constructed from our system components and crafted by our very own Tracey Butterworth.
This award embodies Nick’s commitment to the company. We look for someone who shares this commitment, stretches themselves, solves challenges with innovative solutions, and most importantly, someone who has proven an invaluable asset to the CoolLED team.
It is our pleasure to announce that this year’s award is presented to Richard Coverdale. Rich has truly excelled in our production department. Historically he’s been our king pE-2 builder, and this year he has taken lead over the pE-4000, quickly and effectively adapting his skills to the model’s production. But he didn’t stop there. Once accustomed to the pE-4000, he expertly trained other members of the team in the art of building the unit and took on additional responsibilities for building the pE-6501.
Of course, the award embodies more than just results; Rich’s sense of humour has brought a smile to all those he has encountered over the year. Congratulations, Rich!
