Introducing the pE-300opto
The pE-300opto is a dedicated LED illumination system for optogenetics and neural stimulation applications, designed to deliver controlled, stable illumination for research where timing and consistency really matter.
It’s been developed for applications including optogenetics, electrophysiology, calcium imaging, circuit mapping, and in vivo or ex vivo studies. In other words, it’s built for researchers who need light to do more than simply illuminate a sample.
With carefully selected wavelengths and fast control, the pE-300opto gives researchers a practical way to stimulate light-sensitive biological systems while maintaining the benefits of LED illumination: long lifetime, instant on/off control, lower heat and no mercury/metal halide lamp maintenance.
Supporting optogenetics and neural stimulation
Optogenetics has changed the way researchers study the nervous system. By using light to control specific cells or circuits, scientists can explore how neural activity relates to behaviour, disease, function and response.
That kind of work needs illumination that’s both dependable and easy to integrate into a wider experimental setup. Timing, repeatability and control all matter. A light source that behaves consistently can make a real difference when experiments are complex, sensitive or repeated over long sessions.
The pE-300opto has been designed with those needs in mind. It supports researchers working across a range of neuroscience applications, from targeted stimulation to imaging-based studies where optical control and fluorescence detection need to work side by side.
