pE-10 takes centre stage at AACR and EACR

A strong start in San Diego and Budapest

This year’s AACR and EACR meetings gave us the perfect opportunity to introduce the pE-10 to researchers, imaging specialists and OEM partners working at the frontiers of spatial biology, multiplexing and advanced fluorescence imaging.

Launched in the US at AACR, then brought to Europe for EACR, the pE-10 generated exactly the kind of conversations we’d hoped for. Not just about what it does, but about what it could make possible when built into the next generation of imaging systems.

Introducing the pE-10

The pE-10 is our 10-channel LED illumination platform for OEM integration, designed for systems where flexibility, performance and future-ready capability all need to work together.

With up to 10 individually controllable channels across UV, visible and NIR wavelengths, the pE-10 has been developed to support demanding imaging applications where multiple markers, fluorophores and channels are required. It’s particularly well suited to spatial biology, high-content imaging, slide scanning and other applications where researchers are pushing beyond traditional fluorescence workflows.

At this stage, the pE-10 is available for OEM projects rather than as an off-the-shelf product. That means it can be developed, configured and integrated around the specific needs of an instrument, platform or application.

For OEMs, that opens up a much more interesting conversation. Not simply “what light source do we need?”, but “what could our system become if illumination wasn’t the limiting factor?”

Supporting the next step in LED multiplexing

Spatial biology and multiplexed imaging are changing the way researchers study tissue, disease and complex biological systems. Being able to visualise more targets in the same sample can help provide a much richer understanding of what’s happening, where it’s happening and how different structures or markers relate to one another.

That kind of work needs carefully controlled illumination, reliable performance and enough channel flexibility to support increasingly complex panels.

The pE-10 has been designed with that future in mind. It gives OEMs a platform for building systems that can support more advanced imaging workflows, while still benefiting from the stability, lifetime and control advantages of LED illumination

One of the most exciting parts of the launch has been our collaboration with Kromnigon and their SpectraSplit 10^™.

Working alongside companies who share the same end goal is something we genuinely value. Whether it’s illumination, optics, cameras, stages, software or sample handling, every part of an imaging system matters.
