Meeting new faces and familiar friends in fluorescence microscopy
We recently attended FOM 2025 (Focus on Microscopy) in Taipei, an event which brought together scientists, researchers, industry professionals, and microscopy enthusiasts from across the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.
As always, FOM was an excellent opportunity for us to connect directly with both new and existing customers, and to showcase our latest product developments.
One of the key highlights of this year’s exhibition was our introduction of the new focus adjustment mechanism on the popular pE-400 Series LED illumination systems.
Designed to make microscope setup easier and more precise, the improved functionality received positive feedback from those visiting our booth. Many visitors commented on how these enhancements would streamline their workflows and improve imaging outcomes.
Our team also enjoyed reconnecting with long-standing customers from across the APAC region. It was rewarding to hear directly how CoolLED’s products have become integral to their daily microscopy tasks.
These conversations provide us with valuable insights that help us continue improving and tailoring our products to better meet the specific needs of our customers.
Additionally, we spoke with many new researchers and microscopy users exploring LED illumination for the first time. It was interesting to discuss the advantages of LED technology, such as speed, simplicity, versatility, and reliability.
Seeing growing awareness and interest in these benefits reaffirms our commitment to continued innovation in LED microscopy illumination.
FOM events always provide an opportunity to stay informed about new trends and developments within fluorescence microscopy. Through informal discussions and presentations, our team was able to gain fresh perspectives on the challenges and opportunities faced by researchers.
Understanding these issues helps us to shape future product development and better support the microscopy community.
Outside of product demonstrations, FOM 2025 was also a chance to meet and exchange ideas with other exhibitors, researchers, and industry experts. These conversations help foster collaboration and enable us to keep pace with the evolving needs and trends in the microscopy field.
