From 1998 to 2005, Bruce Chen studied at the school of Life Science, Sun Yan-Sen University, and obtained a Masters Degree of Science with a Major in Biochemistry and Hydrobiology in 2005.
Since graduation, he has dedicated most of his career to the microscopy industry. He began his career as a sales manager for biological microscopes at Carl Zeiss, China, where he worked from 2006 to 2014. Later, he worked as a sales manager for Thorlabs China, responsible for the business development of the multiphoton microscope and other optical products, before moving on to work for several microscope distributors in China.
In 2019, he joined CoolLED as a project manager, where he is responsible for customer support and business development in China and Hong Kong.
