Brad graduated with a degree in Biology with a focus on marine ecology from the University of Connecticut. After university, he worked as the lab manager for a small university supporting the student labs and the faculty’s research interests, which included a wide variety of microscopes. After a couple of years, he took the leap into the retail side of science, selling microscopes for life science and material science applications first for an Olympus distributor. This followed with many successful years with a Leica (Leitz-Wild) distributor, and as a direct sales representative for Carl Zeiss, and Leica Microsystems in New England, collecting many top sales performance awards over several decades.
Outside work Brad is an avid target archer and coach, and when time permits, likes to spend the day rowing around the local ponds in his dory.
