Our First Ever Group Reseller Training Day
We recently tried something brand new at CoolLED – and honestly, we weren’t sure how it would go. Would people make the trip? Would we manage to squeeze everything in? Would anyone actually eat the sandwiches?
The answer, happily, was a resounding yes on all counts. We held our very first Reseller Training Day, bringing together more of our partners in the same place at the same time than we’ve ever managed before. And it turned out to be one of those days that felt both busy and energising in the best possible way.
The day was pulled together by our brilliant Key Account Manager Florence Hinton, who somehow managed to squeeze in a packed agenda without anyone feeling rushed (or missing out on lunch… which is obviously a priority).
The day started with an in-depth look into our products, looking at the details of our illumination systems and how they’re used across different applications. It’s one thing to read a brochure, but another to hear the ins and outs from the people who design, build, and support the technology every day.
That naturally led into a tour of our building, where resellers could see our light sources actually being built. For many, this was the first time they’d watched the process in action, and it sparked some great conversations with our engineering and R&D teams.
Feedback from customers came up a lot here – what’s working well, what could be tweaked, and how new ideas might shape future products.

We also made time for marketing discussions, which were lively as always. There was plenty of sharing about what’s working in the field, what customers respond to, and how we can support resellers better with materials and resources. These exchanges are incredibly valuable because they bring together so many different perspectives in one place.
And then there was the lunch. It might not sound like the headline act, but it gave everyone a chance to chat informally, swap experiences, and build connections that go beyond email threads and Teams calls.
Looking back, it was amazing to see so many of our resellers under one roof. The energy in the room, the feedback we gathered, and the relationships we strengthened made it clear this is something we’ll absolutely be organising again.
So, a massive thank you to Flo for orchestrating it all, and to everyone at CoolLED who pitched in to make it a success.
