CoolLED Optimised filters

Optical filters have traditionally been designed for mercury and metal halide illumination systems, and using these with new LED systems can compromise image quality, with knock-on effects for data interpretation. In a bid to bring optical filters into the new LED era and equip end-users with greater insight into their samples, CoolLED designed a set of single-band filters perfectly matched to the spectra of CoolLED LEDs and popular fluorophores. This video will explain how optimised filters:

Increase the signal to noise ratio for single-colour imaging
Minimise bleed-through to enhance multi-colour imaging
Can be used across the whole CoolLED product range
