"For each treatment, at least 20 cells were measured from 4 roots. for DISBAC2(3) experiments, the epidermal peels and root samples were dyed either in stomatal opening or BSM solutions containing 2 µm DISBAC2(3), for 10 min in the dark, then rinsed with distilled H2O and observed under a fluorescent microscope (Leica Microsystems GmbH, Germany) equipped with a light-emitting diode (LED) source (CoolLED pE-300 white), at an excitation wavelength of 450 to 495 nm."
