"Fura-2 was alternatingly excited at a 2 s interval using a CoolLED pE-300 ultra/pE-340 lamp set at 340 nm and 380 nm (CoolLED, Andover, UK), and using a dichroic mirror FF02-409/LP-25 (Semrock, New York, USA) and a bandpass emission filter 515/30 (Semrock, Rochester, USA). mCherry was visualized using a CoolLed pE-4000 lamp (CoolLED, Andover, UK) at 550 nm, and using the cubical excitation filterset FF01–378/474/554/635 and a bandpass emission filter 595/31 (Semrock, Rochester, USA).
