"Intracellular calcium transients were monitored in ARNKISS neurons via GCaMP6s fluorescence using a Prime BSI Express sCMOS camera (Teledyne Photometrics UK) and CoolLED pE-300 ultra-light source via an Olympus 40x immersion objective and GFP filter cube (Chroma) using 470-490-nm excitation at 2 Hz for 100 ms with emission collected at 500-520-nm with a 495-nm long-pass filter."
