For intuitive control of complex imaging experiments, many CoolLED Illumination Systems offer USB connectivity and support in popular third-party imaging software programs.
We are now pleased to announce that these products (detailed on our imaging software page) can now be controlled in µManager 2.0 (in addition to v1.4).
This also includes the NEW pE-400 Series, which is supported in µManager versions 1.4 and 2.0.
About the pE-400 Series
The pE-400 Series delivers the most advanced yet cost-effective microscopy illumination for routine to advanced fluorescence microscopy applications. Four powerful LEDs offer broad spectral coverage from 365-635 nm for use with fluorophores ranging from DAPI through YFP to Cy5.
While the bright white pE-400 Microscope Illuminator offers the ideal lamp replacement, the four-channel pE-400max enhances performance in applications where speed and control is crucial, such as live cell imaging and optogenetics.
For the majority of software programs where the pE-400 Series is not yet integrated, the USB to TTL trigger boxes (pE-6501) offers seamless control. In addition, the LightBridge graphical user interface (GUI) provides comprehensive control of the pE-400max independently of imaging software platforms.
