CoolLED is pleased to welcome Brynn Dachtler to the team. Brynn has joined the R&D Team as a Development Engineer.
Brynn was raised on a farm and grew up in Cornwall, leaving to go to University in Exeter to study Physics, graduating in 2007 with an MPhys Physics degree with research specialism in low temperature electron transport in Carbon Nanotubes. After university Brynn became a teacher of A-level Maths and Physics, before enrolling on an Engineering PhD studentship in Tribology at the University of Southampton. Excited at seeing the chance to join CoolLED, Brynn decided that he wanted to apply his scientific and mathematical knowledge and skills, as well as his experiences from his career in teaching, in the private sector.
Brynn will be working as a Development Engineer in the R&D department at CoolLED and will assist in the development of new concepts and technologies essential to the business and move concepts into design and prototyping.
