Configuring pE-series
As a solid-state product, there is very little configuration required. In most instances, the CoolLED pE-series product fits directly to the microscope, replacing the existing light source on the epi-fluorescent or transmitted port as required. Directions are provided in the Set-up instructions or manual provided when the product is first shipped.
Fitting to the microscopeIf you experience difficuly in fitting to your microscope, please verify that you have the correct adaptor. See Adaptors list. If you stil have difficulty, contact CoolLED.
All CoolLED pE-series products are designed so that the user can optimise the illumination on their microscope. This ensures maximum intensity and a full, homogeneous excitation over the field-of-view. This is a once-only, on installation, activity.
