Technical Information

This section provides additional information on the performance and use of CoolLED products as part of an integrated fluorescence imaging package.

The Filters page identifies recommended optical filter sets for use with all CoolLED LED wavelengths, as well as recommendations for more complex filter sets (e.g. "Pinkel" and "Sedat") for applications such as FRET or Live Cell- Dual Staining.  Links to popular filter suppliers are included so that full spectral details of filter set performance can be viewed.

Many CoolLED products can be controlled through third party imaging software.  A list with links and further information is provided.
