Collimator Accessories

The pE-2 collimator is a modular product which allows you to exchange the combining dichroic mirror when you change the LED wavelengths.  This optic is easily installed within the body of the unit.

It is not possible to exchange the combining dichroic mirror in the fixed pE-1 collimator.

Excitation Filters can be removed from a filter wheel or from the microscope cube and inserted within the optical path of the CoolLED system.  This is attractive if you want to avoid the vibration, delay and cost of an excitation filter wheel or when you need to have independent filtering of two optical channels.  Filter holders to accommodate 25mm dia. filters are available.
