Confocal

Confocal laser scanning microscopy systems require a fluorescence excitation system in order that samples can be correctly aligned prior to the scanning process being initiated.  CoolLED excitation systems offer a stable, reliable solution which offers instant excitation when it is required. 

The CoolLED system is convenient to use.  There is no need for a shutter with instant control of on/off.  Under these conditions the CoolLED system can be expected to run for decades allowing users to concentrate on their confocal microscopy activities.

These LED wavelength configurations for Confocal applications would  apply to the commonly used DAPI, FITC, TRITC and Cy5 fluorophore dyes.
