Confocal
Confocal laser scanning microscopy systems require a fluorescence excitation system in order that samples can be correctly aligned prior to the scanning process being initiated. CoolLED excitation systems offer a stable, reliable solution which offers instant excitation when it is required.
The CoolLED system is convenient to use. There is no need for a shutter with instant control of on/off. Under these conditions the CoolLED system can be expected to run for decades allowing users to concentrate on their confocal microscopy activities.
