Wire Bonding

CoolLED provides both Aluminium and Gold wirebonding using both wedge bonding and ball bonding.  The company has invested in recent years with two fully automatic Aluminium Wedge bonders one fully automatic Gold Ball bonder - as well as an additional manual heavy gauge Aluminium wire bonder. 

These machines, when coupled with our high precision die bonders, provides CoolLED with a  wire-bonding capability that is unmatched by any other independent facility in the UK.
